Private Lessons in Wilderness Survival

Making natural cordage
Experience the Methow Valley in a new way. Wilderness survival skills will give you a completely new perspective on how you relate to the natural world, as everywhere you look you recognize tools for your sustenance and survival. Sessions last a minimum of three hours. We are happy to create a class or multi-day program customized to you or your family’s needs. All ages welcome.
Private Lessons are available in the following subjects:
-Fire by friction: the art of primitive fire
-Cordage making
-Pine beedle basket making
-Sewing with hides - making clothes and satchels
-Building shelters - surviving a night out in the cold
-Aidless navigation - learning to return without map & compass

One to One - Private lesson
Cost: $120
Two to One - Semi-private lesson
Cost: $170
Groups (three to eight people)Cost: $90/person
