The Power of Traditional Storytelling & Community Potluck & Fireside Stories
Saturday, October 9, 1 – 5 pm
Cost: $60/person. Potluck free and open to community.
For millennia social rules and code of conduct were passed from generation to generation through storytelling. In this class we will explore the power of myth on our psyche and how traditional storytelling can shape our lives and behaviors. We will cover techniques for improving our storytelling skills as well as for remembering long stories. We will also discuss how to create new myths in order to address our current social needs. And everyone is welcome to join us after the class for a community potluck and some traditional stories told around the fire!"
