These easy to moderate hikes will take you around the Methow Valley to learn about our beautiful flora and practical ways to incorporate wild plants into your life. We will learn traditional and contemporary uses of plants for food, medicine, survival and tools. If you are a local, you'll form a deeper connection with the plants that you see all the time. If you are a visitor, this will be a wonderful way to explore our scenic beauty while taking away knowledge that will enrich your connection to the natural world. You'll never look at wild flowers the same!
 


Plant Walk: Bountiful Harvest

Is your food storage full? Is your medicine chest stocked for the season? In this walk we’ll be discussing the plants still viable for harvest as the growing season winds down. Come and enjoy the Methow Valley during one of its most brilliant times of the year.
