The following list of resources contains many good sources of information about animal tracks specifically, but as anyone who has taken a course with me knows, tracking is a lot more than knowing what the footprints of an animal look like.  Included in the list you will find books that give animal ranges, habits, breeding information and more.  You will also find books on identifying plants, skulls, birds and many other things.  This list was compiled for those of us living in Washington State.  If you live in another state you should find the similar guides for your area.  Good luck in your studies.
