The Methow Valley
We are lucky to be based in the beautiful Methow Valley at the base of the North Cascades National Park in Washington State. The Valley is a popular vacation spot due to its world class cross country skiing and hiking, majestic mountains and diverse wildlife; including wolverines, wolves and grizzly bear. WHERE TO STAY
Apart from the many great Forest Service campgrounds (take note of seasonal closures, see http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/oka/recreation), there are some great accomodations:
Central Reservations - a one-stop place to figure out where to stay
Methow Valley Inn - lovely, historic bed and breakfeast in Twisp
Mt. Gardner Inn - A sweet inn withclean rooms, comfortable beds and affordable rate in Winthrop
North Cascades Lodge- A wonderful variety of accomodations located on the Methow River and situated on 22 acres of protected old growth Cedar and Fir and provides spectacular vistas of Mt. Gardner and Goat Wall.
